ALMAGUIN CAMPGROUND PROVIDES EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND MORE:

  • Swimming pool (Operates based on weather – Normally opens around June 17th and closes around the September long weekend)
  • Sandy swimming beach on Owl Lake
  • 85 acres of forest, trails, fields and campsites
  • Full service sites – crushed rock pad, 30amp electrical, water and sewer hook-up
  • Cottage rentals
  • Clean spacious bathrooms:  flush toilets, sinks & hot showers (showers take loonies-$1 for 8 mins)
  • Recreation hall with WiFi access, books, games, pool table, ping pong, foosball & air hockey (open all day)
  • General store: firewood, ice, candy, ice cream treats, snacks, drinks, groceries and basic needs
  • We accept e-transfers and debit
  • Mini-golf course
  • Playgrounds (one at the beach and one in the camping area)
  • Boat rentals: canoes, kayaks, standup paddleboards and paddle boats
  • Fishing on the lake: assorted fish species including smallmouth bass and rock bass
  • Basketball court/ball hockey court, badminton, beach volleyball, horseshoe pits and gaga ball

  • Reservations accepted by phone or email
  • Pets on leashes are welcome
  • Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS & AMENITIES WITHIN A 10 MINUTE DRIVE

  • 9-hole golf course
  • Two large lakes, marina, and boat launches for motorized boats
  • Grocery store, hardware store, liquor store, restaurants and gift shops in Burk’s Falls
  • Gas station and propane filling station in Burk’s Falls
  • Algonquin Park (*45 minutes to several entrances*)

IMPORTANT RULES:

  • Children 16 years old and younger must wear a helmet when riding a bike in the campground
  • Children under age 15 must be supervised by someone at least 18 years old when swimming
  • All children under 18 must be under direct parental supervision after 10.30pm
  • SPEED LIMIT of 10km/hour ~ Please drive slow.
  • Visitors to overnight campsites are required to have a day pass.
  • Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times, not disruptive and not left unattended
  • Pets are not allowed in playground, beach or pool areas and must be cleaned up after immediately
  • No Smoking in the cottages, pool and beach area, or any campground buildings
  • Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am
